Avondale Light Up the Sky Celebration

Come join us as certified zoo employees bring their unusual, cuddly, and amazing zoo animals to The Wigwam to meet the Ignite your celebration and come on out to Light Up The Sky Celebration. VIP guests will dance along with DJ, play cornhole and devour gourmet food. The FREE general admission area can enjoy tailgate parking with their friends and family, enjoy variety of food trucks, play games in the Kid Zone, and enjoy live music before being dazzled by 25-minute spectacular fireworks show.

4th of July Patriotic Pool Party

Independence Day Celebration

Pack your blanket and chairs and enjoy the tailgate style event at Buckeye’s Independence Day Celebration. Bring out your favorite yard games and friends and do not forget the water!

This festive event will also include All-American eats & treats with a variety of food trucks and vendors and a concert! The patriotic celebration will finish with a drive-in style fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m.

Arizona Road Racers Summer Series 3

July 4th, Starting 8:00 AM | Rio Vista Park, 8866 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ

Please note that unlike previous races, there will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Registration will close July 3rd, 2023 at 11:59pm MST

Summer Series #3 is a 4th of July tradition, so throw on your stars and stripes and join us. The 4 mile loop starts and finishes at Rio Vista Park in Peoria, AZ running along the wash.

Packet pick-up is from 5:30 – 6:15 a.m. The race starts at 6:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will take place approximately 7:30 a.m

Race Timing: The event will be professionally timed by Race Timers using a disposable timing chip. Live onsite and online results will be available.

Jurassic World Live Tour

Jurassic World Live Tour, an exhilarating and unpredictable live, family entertainment experience that brings the wonder and thrills of Jurassic World to generations of fans, will be roaring into Phoenix for the first time ever this summer playing the Footprint Center for six action-packed performances from July 28–30, 2023.

With unrivaled arena production quality, Jurassic World comes to life against a backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favorite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take center stage.
