    Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular

    More than 30 hot-air balloons will be on display at this event.  In addition to the display, tethered rides will be available along with food and beverages, live music, a haunted house and petting zoo.  Fireworks will wrap up the night.

    Details:  5-10p, Friday and Saturday at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, Loop 101 and Indian Bend Road.  $10, $5 for age 3-12, free for 3 or younger.  Various prices for other events.

     

    Arizona Jazz Festival

    Robin Thicke will be headlining this years Jazz festival.  Other artists performing at this 3 day event will be Charlie Wilson, Chaka Khan and Keyshia Cole.  This years event will be at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa.

    Details:  October 25-27, 7:30 pm, Friday, 1pm on Saturday, Noon on Sunday.  Arizona Grand Resort and Spa, 8000 S Arizona Grand Parkway, Phoenix.  Tickets range from $65-$350.

    Arizona State Fair

    The AZ State Fair is in town.  Check out the 2013 State Fair.  The fair gates open at 10am on Saturday and Sunday.  Take the family out to enjoy the various attractions offered at this years event.

    Details:  Gates open at 10am.  Adults $10, Kids ages 5-13 $5, Seniors (age 55+) $5, kids under 5 free.  1826 W McDowell Rd, Phoenix.

     

    Cave Creek Open House and Halloween Howl

    Cave Creek’s Nature Center will host an evening of fun as they celebrate their 21st Anniversary with a Halloween themed open house.  There will be trick and treating for the kids, a Halloween costume contest, coyote howling and much more.

    Details:  6pm, Cave Creek Regional Park 37904 N Lava Ln, Cave Creek AZ.  Motorized vehicles $6, $2 pedestrians and bicyclists.

    America’s Got Talent Live

    Check out some of the performers from the shows Eight season.  Contestants such as 2013 winner Kenichi Ebina, Collins Key, Taylor Williamson, Cami Bradley and Jimmy Rose will perform live at the Mesa Arts Center.

     ACC Autumnfest

    Anthem will be celebrating the fall season with a weekend of family-friendly events and activities.  This years event will include carnival rides, craft vendors, a pumpkin patch and a pie-baking contest.
