    Spring Greek Festival of Chandler

    Check out the annual Greek festival in the East Valley. Traditional Greek foods, imports, music and folk dancing will all be part of the family-friendly event.

    Details: 5-10 p.m. Friday;  St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 2716 N. Dobson Road, Chandler. $3; free for ages 12 and younger

    Avondale Out and About Fiesta

    Live entertainment will include music from the bands Power Drive and Mariachi Aguila, as well as ballet folklorico performances. There will  also  be a salsa contest, arts and crafts for sale and a variety of foods for sale.

    Cinco de May Festival-Phoenix

    Celebrate Cinco de Mayo this weekend with live music from Grammy-winning artists, lucha libre wrestling, carnival rides, games, food, prizes and more. USA Boxing AZ will host the Junior National Boxing Tournament, and afterward guests can watch the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana for free on May 3. Los Lonely Boys and El Chicano headline Saturday, and Ozomatli and Los Lobos perform Sunday.

    Details: 2 p.m.-midnight Saturday, May 3, and noon-10 p.m. Sunday, May 4. 200 E. Van Buren St., Phoenix. $5 until 5 p.m., $10 after; free for children 12 and younger.

    ParkFest

    Spend the day outdoors at this free event. Guests can stay cool with activities such as water inflatables, games and more. There will be free food and temporary tattoos.

    Enchanted Island Amusement Park-Cinco de Mayo Celebration

    Spider-Man will be on hand to kick off the fun at 11 a.m. and stay for autographs until 5 p.m. Kids can take a swing at candy-filled piñatas, and there will be live music and ballet folklorico. Park attractions will be available, including a carousel, train and bumper boats.

    Details: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.  1202 W. Encanto Blvd., Phoenix. Free admission and piñatas; $7.50 for unlimited-ride wristbands; fees for pictures.
