    Roots N’ Boots

    The fourth annual festival will take place this weekend in Queen Creek.  This festival features a carnival, rodeo and other family-friendly activities.

    10th Annual Chili Cook Off Festival

    Ahwatukee Foothills will host a three-day weekend of fun.  Festivities include a Ferris Wheel and other rides, live music, craft booths, food vendors and a chili cook off.

    Details:  10am-9pm, Ahwatukee Park, 4700 E Warner Rd, Phoenx.  $5 chili-tasting kits; $25 for ride wristbrands.

    Chandler Ostrich Festival

    The annual festival takes place this weekend in Chandler.  The festival features ostrich races, cowboy-horse show, motorcycle rides, live entertainment and much more.

    My Nana’s Salsa Challenge

    Steele Indian School Park will be the host of the annual salsa challenge.  Event will feature live music, a kids zone and over 90 individuals and restaurants offering family salsa recipes.

    Details:  10am-6pm, 300 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix Tickets $15; $12 in advance.

    Maricopa County Home and Garden Show

    Check out the annual event at University of Phoenix Stadium.  This event will feature several vendors displaying products and services from home improvement businesses.

    Details:  10am-5pm, University of Phoenix Stadium, 1 Cardinals Dr, Glendale AZ.  $5 for adults, $2 for ages 3-12


    Litchfield Art and Culinary Festival

    More that 250 artists are expected to be present at this year festival.  The festival will feature fine dining, a variety of wines and works from several artists.

    Details:  9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, Downtown Litchfield Park, 101 W Wigwam Blvd.  Free event
