    Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus

    The circus is in town.  In addition to the animals, this year’s circus will include a Pegasus, unicorn and wooly mammoth.

     Saturday, June 28, 2014

    AZ Toy and Popular Culture Convention

    This convention is put on by two local toy collectors and dealers and will feature vendors, displays, costume contests, autograph signing and artist displays.

    Details:  Glendale Civic Center, 5750 W Glenn Dr, Glendale AZ.  10am-8pm.  $10 membership available online or at the door, free for children 12 or younger.


    After Dark in the Park

    Spend time with the family outdoors at Deer Valley Park.  The park will have live music, bounce houses and food and beverage vendors.  Fireworks will conclude the event.

    Arizona Sports Fan Expo

    Great event this weekend for the whole family.  Those in attendance can enjoy the tailgate party, check the fan cave as well as a video game wall, shopping, and more.

    Details:  10am-4pm, University of Phoenix Stadium, 1 Cardinals Dr, Glendale.  $12 at the door, $10 for active military and seniors; free for ages 12 and younger.


    Pride in the Pines

    Head up North for some cooler temperatures and enjoy the 18th Annual Pride in the Pines Festival in Flagstaff.  Event will include live entertainment, food and a kids area.

    Details:  Thorpe Park, 191 N Thorpe Rd, Flagstaff.  $10-15, free for younger than 12.
