    Glendale Chocolate Affaire

    Check out the annual Chocolate Affaire taking place in downtown Glendale this weekend.  This festival features chocolate treats and kid-friendly activities such as arts and crafts, face painting and carnival rides.

    George Strait

    Country singer George Strait will preform part of his farewell tour this weekend at US Airways Center.

    Harlem Globetrotters

    The Harlem Globetrotters will be in town this weekend at Jobing.com and US Airways Center.  This team provides entertainment for the whole family.

    Details:  2pm and 7pm Sat, Feb 8 at Jobing.com arena, Loop 101 and Glendale.  $21-$133.  2pm Sunday Feb 9 at US Airways Center, 2nd and Jefferson Streets; $19-$135.

    Subway D-Backs Fan Fest

    This weekend D-Backs fans will have the opportunity to tour the clubhouse, hit in the batting cages, catch a fly ball on the field and pitch in the bullpen.    Fans can also take photos with players in preparation for the upcoming season.

    Arizona Renaissance Festival

    The annual Renaissance Festival starts this weekend with it’s medieval-themed street fair.  The festival takes place in Gold Canyon and offers plenty of things to see and do for the whole family.

    Details:  10am-6pm, Saturday and Sundays, Feb. 8- March 30.  Arizona Renaissance Festival, 12601 E US 60, Gold Canyon.  $22; $12 for kids ages 5-12.

    Taste in Tempe

    Dozens of restaurants, wineries and craft breweries will be participating in the Taste in Tempe this weekend.  Several restaurants will be hosting cooking demonstrations at this outdoor food festival.

    Details:  1-4pm, Sunday.  Tempe Center for the Arts Amphitheater, 700 W Rio Salado Parkway.  $59 in advance; $69 at the door.
