The inventory of homes for sale in Buckeye, AZ between July 2022 and August 2022 increased by 14.1%. While the average time on the market in August 2022 was 38 days, the median list price was $425,010. Between July 2022 and August 2022, listing prices of homes in this real estate market have seen the following changes: 1 bedroom properties became 45.6% more expensive, prices of 2 bedrooms properties went up by 23.5%, 3 bedrooms properties prices increased by 27.2%, 4 bedrooms properties became 26.4% more expensive, 5 bedrooms properties prices increased by 25.7%. This housing market inventory have changed: 1 bedroom homes inventory did not change, the quantity of 2 bedrooms homes went down by 6.5%, the quantity of 3 bedrooms homes went up by 19.1%, the volume of 4 bedrooms homes went up by 13.9%, while 5 bedrooms homes became 23.4% more available. In August 2022 more than 26 listings in Buckeye, AZ were sold above the asking price. During the same period, more than 57 listings were sold at the asking price, while more than 72 were sold below.

Buckeye continues to see tremendous residential growth throughout the community. The city is projecting 3,900+ SFR & Multi-family permits in 2022, which equates to an additional 12,600+ residents added to the community this year. Growth within Buckeye is expected to increase in the coming years, as other areas within metro Phoenix are built out or are constrained by physical and geopolitical limitations (i.e. Indian communities, U.S. Forest Services lands, mountain ranges, etc.) Buckeye’s entitled land can support an ultimate build-out population of over 1.5 million, which would make it the second most populous city in Arizona, after the City of Phoenix. Buckeye continues to experience tremendous growth and new developments throughout the community!
