Janet is a talented artist specializing in handmade jewelry. Originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, she now resides in Arizona with her husband of nearly 12 years, along with their two children, two dogs, and a tortoise. Janet has a full-time job as a preschool teacher, where she also coaches her colleagues. In her free time, she indulges in activities like reading, walking her dogs, gardening, hiking, and traveling. Additionally, Janet actively volunteers at her children’s school.
During the pandemic, Janet sought a creative outlet to cope with the stress of quarantine. She began working with polymer clay and discovered her passion for crafting unique earrings. With the support of her family, Janet’s jewelry business, Jaydededclay, has flourished. She expanded her offerings to include gold jewelry with options for permanent wear. In August 2022, she achieved a significant milestone by opening her first jewelry studio at the Desert Reign Medspa in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Janet is immensely grateful for the support and word-of-mouth promotion of her art, and she continues to donate a portion of her proceeds back into the community. She sincerely appreciates everyone who has joined her on this incredible journey and looks forward to building lasting connections as “earring besties.”
