Navarrete vs Wilson

February 3rd with a 4:15 PM start | Desert Diamond Arena, 9400 W Maryland Ave, Glendale, AZ 85305

Mexican star Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete and Australian contender Liam Wilson will fight for the vacant WBO junior lightweight world title Friday, February 3. Navarrete, the reigning WBO featherweight world champion, hopes to become the 10th Mexican-born boxer to win world titles in three weight divisions.

Arizona Balloon Classic

February 3rd – 5th at 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM | Goodyear Ballpark, 1334 E Chandler Blvd, Suite 5-D17, Goodyear, AZ 85338

The Arizona Balloon Classic – On Saturday and Sunday mornings, the sky will be filled with colorful hot-air balloons participate in thrilling “Hare & Hound” races from the grassy fields of the Goodyear Ballpark for a spectacular sight of mass and color. Spectators can walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off. Photo taking is invited.

DESERT GLOWS on Friday and Saturday evenings, are our most popular attended events. A field full of illuminated, tethered, hot air balloons will glow in time to music.

Other Events: Hot Air Balloon rides, the QT Family Fun Zone (FREE Inflatables), Hot Air Balloon Tether rides, Stunt Bike Shows, Fireworks (Saturday ONLY), “Weekend Hunger Backpack activities,” Live Entertainment,

browsing.

Street Foodfest: Our Street Foodfest is TRULY a culinary experience including; the “Beer Gardens”, Festival food favorites, Live music stage and more. Come hungry and stay for a while…

Super Bowl Experience

West Valley Symphony Anny

Anna Han will join the West Valley Symphony performing Schumann’s Piano Concert in A Minor. Born in Mesa, Arizona, Anna began her musical journey at the age of four at the East Valley Yamaha Music School. Anna received her Bachelor and Masters degrees at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Robert McDonald, graduating in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Professional Diploma at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the tutelage of Christopher Elton. Concert includes Rossini’s Semiramide Overture and Brahm’s Symphony no. 2 in D Major.

WM Phoenix Open

Annually sporting the largest crowds on the PGA Tour, the Waste Management Phoenix Open has gained legendary status for being unlike any other golf tournament.

If you are visiting for the first time, hole 16 is a must-see. With stadium seating and lively crowds, the fan experience at this hole more comparable to a Phoenix Suns game than a traditional PGA Tournament. Bud Light Super bowl LVII Music Fest

February 9th – 11th | Event times vary daily | Footprint Center, 201 E Jefferson St, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Celebrating its fourth year, the three-night festival connects the city of Phoenix with the football and music communities as part of the festivities surrounding this year’s Super Bowl. The Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest will run from Thursday, Feb. 9 to Saturday, Feb. 11, at Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ.

The Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest kicks off Thursday night with the beloved trio Paramore with special guests to be announced, and is followed by Friday night with the iconic and revered Dave Matthews Band with a DJ set by DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak). The three-night music festival wraps Saturday night with the powerhouse lineup of Imagine Dragons and Kane Brown.

Wigwam Fine Art Festival

Located in the heart of Litchfield Park’s historic district, the iconic Wigwam Resort will host the 13th Annual Wigwam Fine Art Festival, an extraordinary three day celebration of the arts. Tough Mudder Arizona

Glendale Chocolate Affaire

The Chocolate Affaire returns to the City of Glendale for a two-day event on Feb. 18 and 19, 2023, completely revamped by Steve LeVine Entertainment and Public Relations (SLE). The event will feature selections of chocolatiers, confectioners, wine tasting and pairings, food demonstrations, live music and family-friendly interactive experiences.

The Chocolate Affaire will return to Glendale revamped with an elevated atmosphere. The two-day event will be held at the Glendale Civic Center and is free and open to the public, including parking.

“Chocolate Affaire is the premiere event for chocolate lovers everywhere and we are excited to bring this signature event back to the City of Glendale. This free family-friendly event has something for everyone so the entire family can enjoy together.,” said Vice Mayor Jamie Aldama.

Arizona Matsuri: Festival of Japan
